Scott P. Sealy, Jr., serves as the Marketing & Leasing Services Vice President for Sealy & Company. His responsibility directly involves managing the Dallas office and supervising the San Antonio and Nashville office. In addition, he oversees the leasing efforts of the company’s industrial portfolio, which includes lease negotiations, budgeting, and strategic marketing.
Scott’s management has formed a cohesive relationship between leasing and asset management, property management, and third party listing agents. Since 1996, he has completed 654 lease transactions for a total lease volume of $158 million.
Scott has been instrumental in the implementation of Sealy’s monthly leasing report, which instills a discipline approach to keep leasing agents accountable. In addition to leasing efforts, he serves on the company’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Sealy in 2001, he served as a leasing agent for Fadior Company. From 1997 to 2001, he was the Director of Leasing for First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., covering properties in Austin and Dallas.
In 1995, Scott obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics with an emphasis in finance from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and is actively pursuing SIOR and CCIM designations.
