For more than 40 years, the Investment Division of Sealy & Company has been purchasing, selling and managing commercial and industrial properties throughout the southern United States. Sealy acts as an investment conduit between buyers and sellers to deliver quality investment products and services in the areas of analysis, acquisition, development, re-development, disposition, due diligence, financing and property and asset management. Combined with the Development, Management, and Brokerage Divisions, Sealy provides a full service platform for high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
Through the Investment Division, Sealy has built a reputation as an astute investor in the marketplace. Since 1972, Sealy has utilized private capital via its friends and family funds, and since 2002, significant institutional investor capital through company sponsored partnerships to acquire, develop and sell approximately 16 million square feet of industrial buildings for an aggregate investment amount of approximately $700 million and well over $1 billion in transactions. Sealy estimates the investments acquired and disposed of since 1990 have accounted for an annual average internal rate of return on equity to limited partner investors of approximately 29%.
