Sealy & Company Welcomes Ron Mills, Market Manager to San Antonio Office

Dallas – January 14, 2010 – Sealy & Company announces that Ron Mills, former Chief Executive Officer for Santa Barbara Realty Services LLC, Santa Barbara Development Services LLC and Santa Barbara Management Services LLC, joined the company as Market Manager on December 2, 2009.
Mills will focus on investment, development and corporate networking for Sealy in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Mills will serve as the conduit for Sealy’s regional manager, and his primary objective is to source deals and provide due diligence on opportunities in the South Texas region. Mills is based in the company’s San Antonio office.
For over 27 years, Mills has been a leader in the commercial real estate industry throughout the state of Texas and northern Mexico. His range of experience includes investment brokerage, land sales, land development, industrial and office development, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions and master-planned developments including the Hunt Valley Development's Sharyland Plantation and Santa Teresa developments. Mills has developed or acquired in excess of 12 million square feet of industrial and office properties.
During Mills’ tenure with Santa Barbara Realty Development Services, he was responsible for building development, marketing, leasing and land sales for the company’s entities. The Santa Barbara Realty Companies are some of the largest owner developers of industrial properties along the border and operate planned industrial parks in the region.
Mills' prior affiliations include Managing Director of Hunt Valley Development, Global Services Officer and Market Officer for Prologis Trust Global Services, Vice President of Commercial Operations for SCG Realty Services and Assistant Vice President of Asset Management, Property Management and Leasing for USAA Real Estate Company.
Mills is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is married and has three children.
