He supervises a team of professional property managers and is charged with preserving and enhancing the value of the management portfolio. Hoefler oversees the creation and adherence to the business plans and budgets for each property and implements policies and procedures for the management of the investment real estate. Hoefler joined the firm in November 1999 as Vice President of Management Services. Over the past 20 years, Hoefler has worked in asset and property management in all areas of commercial, office, retail and industrial real estate. Prior to joining Sealy & Company, his experience in property management of commercial real estate began with Silveri Management Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas. He moved into asset management with Basic Capital Management of Dallas and Ocwen Asset Investment Corporation of West Palm Beach, Florida. His management experience has included the metropolitan markets of Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, San Francisco and Tampa Bay. Hoefler received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He holds the designations of CPM®
(Certified Property Manager), CCIM
(Certified Commercial Investment Member) and is an RPA
(Real Property Administrator). His continuing
education has centered on asset/property management and the analysis of
commercial investment real estate. He is a licensed real estate agent, and
a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.
