Sealy & Company's marketing team is able to beautifully meld the old with new and the established with creative, while enlivening the brand and company on a national level. Sealy has a Marketing Team of three, and these team members serve each of the three regional offices and two corporate offices. Led by Director, Kayte Hollowell, and supported by Marketing Coordinators, Hannah Russell and Kate LeJeune, the team successfully provides the national company with marketing collateral in the form of flyers, brochures, investment and development presentations, Offering Memorandums, listing proposals, email marketing, website design and support, and branded content. In addition, the team consults and executes on branding and marketing strategy for the full-service brokerage of third-party properties brokered by Sealy Real Estate Services, LLC (Shreveport, LA).
The challenge for the team over the years has been navigating the timelessness of Sealy’s investment strategy with the revolutionary concepts of modern branding, marketing, and public relations – and doing so with a team of three. The Marketing team successfully tells Sealy’s story of a successful and well-established investment management and brokerage firm that represents roughly 300 third-party listings and owns, manages, and markets 338 buildings in its investment portfolio. The team of three manages the creation and distribution of marketing collateral for all properties. The collaboration among a team of marketers with varying educational and professional backgrounds has been rewarding and influential on the positive direction Sealy & Company has taken.
In the past three years, the Marketing Team at Sealy has been able to accomplish several large projects with its small amount of manpower. Most notably, the company has invested in Marketing Department personnel. A decade ago, Sealy & Company did not have a Marketing Department. Seven years ago, Kayte Hollowell was hired and spearheaded the company’s marketing efforts and continues to lead the team as Marketing Director. Within the last three years, however, the Sealy Marketing Team has grown by two members, who both bring a special skillset to the table. LeJeune’s background in nonprofit and public relations and Russell’s in content marketing and strategy lend well to the team’s overall goals to support and position the company. Since the onboarding of LeJeune and Russell, the team has been able to fulfill requests more quickly and at a much higher volume, with LeJeune supporting the Shreveport brokerage firm and Russell the regional and corporate offices.
Additionally, Sealy & Company’s website, Sealynet.com, was a major accomplishment to date, and it is still managed and edited regularly by the marketing team. Three years ago, the website was rebuilt, and its functionality improved to best serve the public and those looking for Sealy’s resources and capabilities. Now, additional websites are also being built in-house by the team to further enhance Sealy’s online presence.
The company has also heavily invested in new software to increase efficiency and help standardized the brand across all regional offices. With the help of Buildout, Sealy’s Marketing Team has been able to enhance brand consistency and produce high-quality marketing materials quickly while training other employees within the company to utilize the resources provided as well. This online marketing software allows marketers to create collateral using branding standards established by the team. The database stores property profiles, market comparables, photos, maps, and site plans designed by the Marketing Team, and has improved the workflow of requesting and finalizing beautiful marketing collateral.
