South Shreveport Continues to See Growth

Southern Loop/Ellerbe area continues to grow with more land development opportunities. Southeast Shreveport has seen widespread commercial and residential progress, making it the fastest-growing area in town with the economic growth rate doubling over the last five years. The multiple new, high-end developments around the Ellerbe Road and Southern Loop area are significantly contributing to a future increase in property values. With the new Camp Forbing Town Center and Kroger Marketplace, traffic has increased 38% since its opening. Melissa Riddick, SRES agent, has 2.32 acres of vacant land listed directly east of the Ellerbe Rd/Flournoy Lucas intersection (behind Cush’s Grocery and Market). Doug Abington, another SRES agent, has two adjacent parcels of land for sale located three miles away on Norris Ferry Road (0.33 miles north of the Norris Ferry/ Southern Loop intersection).
