The Position:

Sealy currently has an opening for a Leasing & Marketing Assistant in our Houston office. This position has the responsibility of assisting the Regional Director with leasing activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This individual will develop knowledge and skills in the areas of leasing, marketing, office management, and property management.

Job Components:

Office Administration

  • Front office administration(route calls, greet visitors, maintain front office/breakroom)
  • Opens and closes office per Sealy standard business hours
  • Create and maintain property/lease files
  • Create and submit expense reports in Certify and book travel accommodations
  • Purchase, maintain, and stock office and break room supplies
  • Purchase USPS postage
  • Facilitate incoming and outgoing mail

Leasing Administration & Marketing

  • Prepare Lease Packages for corporate review (All related Lease Documents)
  • Create and maintain property/lease files
  • Deliver all fully executed documents to appropriate parties.
  • Assist with Leases, Lease Proposals, SNDA’s, Estoppels, Commission Agreements, etc.
  • Create flyers and add new listings to various marketing databases.
  • Prepare lease tour packages to include maps, floor plans, rent rolls, etc.
  • Act as liaison for brokers regarding initial available space inquiries.
  • Assist Leasing Director in the planning of various broker functions/marketing events.
  • Maintain leasing report and continuous updates to View the Space platform (“VTS”)
  • Assist with broker relations (ordering broker gifts).
  • Code leasing-related invoices and ensure timely payment of commissions.
  • Act as liaison for VP of Marketing and Communications in the regional office.


  • Minimum one (1) year of general office experience and a college degree preferred.
  • Experience in commercial leasing or property management is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with personal computer-based application software with intermediate utilization in spreadsheet applications and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal relations/customer service skills are also required.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Effectively prioritize work, resolve issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Good organization and communication skills.
