Sealy Investment Securities is seeking an Investor Relations Associate in our Dallas, Texas office. This position is full-time, in-office. Sealy & Company, founded in 1946, is a privately held real estate investment and operating company with a long-standing focus on industrial and commercial real estate. Sealy Investment Securities, LLC (“SIS”) is the firm’s registered broker-dealer and serves as the managing broker-dealer for Sealy-sponsored private investment offerings, overseeing the distribution of securities through a nationwide network of financial professionals. SIS is a member of FINRA and SIPC.

Position Summary:

This role works closely with internal sales teams, broker-dealer partners, and third party service providers to facilitate the timely processing of investment transactions and investor reporting. The position is operationally focused and plays a key role in supporting capital raising efforts by ensuring transaction workflows are executed efficiently and accurately.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing & Execution Support

  • Review of subscription agreements and investor documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate resolution of documentation deficiencies with advisors, broker dealers, and external partners
  • Track investments through funding, closing, and investor account setup
  • Maintain transaction and pipeline tracking reports

DST & Private Placement Support

  • Support operational workflows for DST investments, including coordination with qualified intermediaries and sponsors
  • Assist with distributions, ownership changes, and investor account updates
  • Help manage time-sensitive requirements for real estate investment offerings

Sales & Advisor Support

  • Serve as an operational resource to internal and external sales teams
  • Provide guidance on documentation requirements and transaction procedures
  • Assist in managing transaction flow during active fundraising periods
  • Support onboarding of broker-dealer distribution relationships

Transfer Agent & Reporting Coordination

  • Liaise with transfer agents on account setup, reporting, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with investor reporting, distributions, and operational communications
  • Respond to inquiries from advisors and broker-dealer operations teams

Compliance & Data Protection

  • Follow firm policies and procedures for private securities offerings
  • Maintain confidentiality of investor information
  • Support audit, due diligence, and regulatory documentation requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, etc., preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in financial services, real estate investments, operations, or investor services
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems
  • FINRA licensing is not required for this position
  • Must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly
