A second-generation owned and operated business in Bossier City has sadly closed. The property, Sue’s Country Kitchen, located at 4600 E. Texas Street
has remained family owned and operated by the second generation of the Moyers family, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. According to
the Shreveport Times, “the family prided itself on serving down-home country food with a feeling like you have stopped into Grandma’s
house.”
The restaurant building is available for both lease and sale and is listed with Sealy Real Estate Services’ agents, Melissa Riddick and Roland Ricou.
It’s ideal for another restaurant business with its proximity to I-20 and its corner location on E. Texas St. and Swan Lake Rd.
In early August, the restaurant announced the business’s permanent closure and thanked loyal patrons after almost four decades, “…After 38 years
in business, we have so many dedicated customers and staff who have been like family to us. We can’t thank them enough for all of the support.
We will miss all of you very much." The post communicated that the site would be perfect for another restaurant and welcomed inquiries from suggested
buyers.
